One Year

 It's officially been one year since We've been living in the city together. It's also been one year since we started this here little blog. In some ways I can't believe it's been a year already and in other ways looking back at all of the things we have done this past year it feels like so much longer. We both love living here so much and are so happy to be spending our days and nights in this wonderful place. To celebrate the one year mark we went to brunch at Alice's Tea Cup. Anyone that knows us will not be surprised we celebrated by going to tea, ha ha. We took some photos of our lovely upper east side neighborhood along the way and we thought we would share our little corner of the world with you today.

Big Daddy's Diner

For dinner one night while our parents were in town we stopped in at a diner that is close to our apartment. Ashley and I always pass by, and every time we say we need to go in, and so we finally did. I was such a fun place, and it reminded us of an old diner back at home called Benny's. We used to go there all the time, and Ashley had many birthday parties there. Let's just say there was a lot of nostalgia happening.

They also had Trivia Pursuit cards on the table. Mom kicked our butt...as usual!

Brunch at Bocado

We took our parents to have Brunch at Bocado. It was right across the street from their hotel. Ashley had been there before, and she was so excited to take us there.

We always start our day with coffee!

My waffles were absolutely to die for, and they had homemade whipped cream!

Mom had an avocado and goat cheese omlette. She was so excited, and absolutely LOVED it!
